Why book a wildlife photography tour with Kings of Arran?

We make every effort we can to make sure that your trip is enjoyable and fun. We want you to go away with fond memories and some great images. Our passionate wildlife photographers are committed to providing the very best wildlife experiences whilst advocating responsible eco-tourism. We limit our use of vehicles and you can participate on foot or by bike.

What camera do I need?

Any camera will do. You can use a compact camera or state of the art DLSR with lenses to match.

The aim of our tours and workshops is you to learn a little about the natural world and enjoy your experience without getting overwhelmed with the technical side of photography.

Our tutors are there to help you with all aspects of photography and will be on hand for you during each tour.

What if the weather is bad?

We can’t control the weather obviously. We do have alternative locations and things planned for extreme weather events. Sometimes stormy skies give the most dramatic results, so we’ll aim to capitalise on these times if at all possible. Ensuring you and your photography equipment is fully waterproof is an essential first step.
